The Big Sur Community leverages its long history of civic engagement to embrace and steward multi-stakeholder solutions to community challenges. CABS provides a platform to help move community initiatives forward. Examples include:
- Innovating solutions for traffic and safety issues, e.g. the Sycamore Canyon Shuttle Project
- Initiating, fundraising for and facilitating the Big Sur Destination Stewardship Project
- Designing and promoting the Big Sur Pledge
- Researching options and driving solutions for Community Housing and Visitor-Serving Infrastructure
- Organizing member dinners to obtain diverse inputs to the CABS project agenda
