CABS Friend

Become a CABS Associate

Eligibility: If you are an owner, possessing legal or beneficial interest in a parcel of land which is both within the Big Sur Planning Area and legally recognized pursuant to the California Subdivision Map Act; and/or a resident, defined as renters, caretakers, employees, employers, and parents whose children attend school within the Big Sur Planning Area, you are eligible to be a CABS Associate; and payment of an annual $20 membership fee or a $500 life-time membership fee.

- Participation in member-only community dinners
- Engagement as an advisor to CABS
- Member-only in-depth community initiative updates
- Volunteer opportunities

With a ratio of almost 4,000 visitors to each resident, the Big Sur community needs your help. Your donation will enable our community to better manage Big Surʻs natural and community resources for the benefit of visitors and residents alike.

Check out the six CABS’s Initiatives that your donation will support. These include Disaster Recovery Services, the Big Sur Pledge and the Big Sur Destination Stewardship Project.
